Unfortunately, the word "privacy" does not appear in the Constitution, and the word "private" appears only in conjunction with property. Therein lies a problem. The conservative Supreme Court members are happy to discard decisions regarding behaviors that normal citizens consider to fall under the right to privacy, because a right to privacy is only implied, not explicitly stated, in the Constitution or Bill of Rights.
