The "Here's What You Can Do" list is basically sound advice for financial investing all the time, except for #10.

This article, persuasive as it may appear (and may actually be) sounds so much like the raft of books published periodically with titles like "Prepare for the Upcoming Financial Meltdown!", few of which meltdowns have ever happened. Strangely, there don't seem to be nearly as many books hysterically predicting the actual financial meltdowns that have taken place.
