So first we have the quote above, then we have: "Living a moral and ethical life requires a belief in a future life, otherwise it is merely the desire for today without any hope for tomorrow." And then we have: "Atheists and secular humanists do not need to believe in a life after death in order to live a moral and ethical life." These statements cannot all be true; they are logically inconsistent (unless "future life" doesn't mean "afterlife").
I like to think that I lead a moral and ethical life, without any belief in -- let alone evidence for -- the existence of either any deities or an afterlife.
All you have to do to lead a moral and ethical life is recognize that there are a lot of other people here, some better off than you and some worse off, and they are all entitled to the same basic needs and desires for a safe, happy life that you have.
Assuming you have the ability to do so, if you aren't taking some action to make other people's lives better in some way every week, you're just taking up space. That sounds moral and ethical to me, regardless of whether I have a future life (including tomorrow!) or not. I didn't need any deity to tell me that.
