I've never felt a single need for religion. Why do I need to conceive of what life was like I before I was born? I wasn't there; it doesn't matter. Why do I need religion to feel I belong somewhere? I'm where I am; that's where I belong. I have yet to hear any persuasive argument for why human beings (or maybe it's just me) need religion or theism of any kind. I feel nothing lacking in my life without a god, a church, or anything one might consider to be "sacred."
