I'm glad my suggestions are helpful, Jason. I find the phrase "scope and limitations" helpful to keep in mind. That's a carryover from my days as an organic chemist. What will your book cover? What will it not cover? That demarcation can help keep the book (and you) focused instead of wandering around as you write and wondering if a particular element should be included.
