If you put human cells in a microwave oven (though not near a cell phone), they'll cook just like any other kind of meat. Microwave frequencies affect molecular vibrations, thereby causing heat, but they can't ionize molecules, damage DNA, and lead to cancer. Ultraviolet rays can do that, though, which is why the UV in sunlight can cause skin cancer.
